ISE Labs is a high-tech semiconductor testing and development lab in Silicon Valley. Their goal was maximum reduction of power consumption and to initiate their facility’s energy efficiency program. Sprig investigated a variety of energy conservation measures, including fuel cells and PV.

To maximize energy production, SunPower solar modules were chosen for their high output. A 225kW central inverter was placed on their existing HVAC equipment pad enclosure along with the web-based monitoring equipment. ISE Labs envisioned a light weight system with minimal roof attachments for an aesthetic look. To accomplish this, Sprig designed and installed a wind-tunnel tested, non-ballasted mounting system.
