At Sprig Electric, we have embraced LEAN construction and design. Lean construction is a way of maximizing value and minimizing waste. No action is taken in lean construction unless it benefits the end goal of a project. This goal is held from design to completion, and challenges the belief that there must always be trade-offs between time, cost and quality. Lean construction and design represents a transformational way to design and build facilities. The Lean approach generates significant improvements in schedule with dramatically reduced waste, particularly on complex, uncertain and short duration projects.
Production management is an integrated process at Sprig Electric shared between pre-planning, pre-fab and field design. LEAN project delivery encompasses the way prefab production is delivered (kits or assemblies) to the field just in time for installation.
Sprig Electric follows the LEAN principals below:
6S: Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain and Safety
- Flexible production floor design
- Standardized processes and procedures
- Standardized means and methods
- Cross functional teams
- Hands on training
- Vendor managed inventory
- Vendor delivery and pickup from jobsite
- Eliminate wasted motion and materials
- Optimize communication processes
- Visual workplace environments
Improvement is a core value at Sprig Electric and we continually strive to better our company. We see each project and its given challenges as a chance to elevate Sprig Electric to a new level. From planning and design through salvaging and recycling, Sprig Electric will adhere to LEAN principles ensuring customer satisfaction and earning your repeat business.
