SAFETY
At Sprig Electric, safety is of the utmost importance, whether on the jobsite or in our office. We are NFPA 70E certified, and our Injury & Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) exceeds the safety regulations set forth by the Federal and State Cal OSHA statutes, as well as the safety policies of the owners and general contractors with whom we work with.Our goal is to conduct operations without illness or injury at all times. Sprig Electric’s commitment to safety is demonstrated by our full-time Safety Director’s responsibility to train and implement the latest safety standards and practices. The core of our program consists of:- First Aid, CPR and AED training required for all Foremen and Superintendents
- All electrical field supervisors are OSHA 30 certified
- Weekly safety meetings on site for all Foremen and field employees
- Unscheduled site visits by Sprig Electric’s Safety Director for evaluation, approximately every two weeks, followed by a detailed safety report
- First-Aid, CPR, AED and Ergonomic training offered for all office employees
- 95% of the required safety training is done in house
